Church School - Sunday mornings 10am
Children ages 3-12 are encouraged to participate in our Catechesis of The Good Shepherd (CGS) program which provides religious formation that is rooted in scripture, liturgy, and honors the “spiritual education” of the child. This rich program is based on principles articulated by Maria Montessori, an educator and pioneer in the field of child development, and Biblical scholar Sophia Cavaletti. CGS offers the essentials of Christian faith, grounded in Episcopal tradition and guides children to become aware of their relationship with God.

Youth Group ages 13-18
At St. Michael's we want our youth to feel valued and loved for who they are regardless of where they are on their “faith journey”. We meet throughout the school year typically on Sunday evenings, in our designated Youth Room. We offer a variety of opportunities for formation, service projects and fellowship. Our Youth Group members help decide the service projects we participate in and choose what types of social activities to do. We also invite our teens to participate in the broader life of our parish as acolytes, lay readers, and assisting with other ministries.

Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation gives teenagers and adults a chance to publicly claim their baptismal identity for themselves and step into full adult membership in the church.
We hold Confirmation preparation classes for our high school age youth, but adults of all ages are welcome to inquire about
either Confirmation or Reception (if you have already been confirmed in another denomination) into the Episcopal Church
